The photographs on this website are a record of the life, culture and religion of people associated with the Champa Kingdom (such as the Cham people).
The photographs were taken at the end of the 20th century (1992-1994). The locations of the photographs were Cambodia, Vietnam, China (Hainan Island), Malaysia and Thailand.
The end of the 20th century was a time when all countries faced great changes, and the photographs on this website are now valuable records.
These photographs were taken by Japanese photographer Hideo Higuchi with the cooperation of many villagers.
